Current Exploration
The Company completed one of BC’s largest drill exploration programs in 2007 and 2008 by drilling approximately 106,000 metres. The goal of the program was to test and possibly expand the reported resources between the pits to identify a new merged pit – known as the “Super Pit” that would be bigger, wider and deeper to access additional mineralization at depth. The Company was successful in identifying a potential Super Pit and current drilling continues to concentrated on the areas between Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3. Additional drilling is planned to evaluate the surrounding areas plus test the mineralization at depth.
