The property is located in a road accessible area in north-central British Columbia approximately 33km south of the town of Houston, BC.

The Fenton project geology consists of an extensive argillic alteration zone containing polymetallic, disseminated and vein form sulphide mineralization with significant grades of silver-gold-zinc-lead. The deposit exhibits many geological similarities to the Blackwater deposit. Exploration is focused on defining a bulk tonnage gold-silver deposit and/or high-grade stockwork-breccia mineralization.

Future exploration will continue to focus on generating drill targets by interpreting results from ground mapping, LiDar data, recent soil and stream geochemistry and from the 570 Line Km Airborne ZTEM Survey conducted in the Summer of 2016.

zinc-in-soilsSoil geochemistry highlights the strong east-west direction of ice flow on the Fenton property which is also strongly supported by LiDar data.

Zinc anomalies upto 1000 ppm (shown in red) coincide with a large IP Chargeability anomaly (shown in orange at 19m/s threshold) below the eastern half of the soil grid. The soil grid covers an area of 3 sq km while the geophysical anomaly covers an area of 800m x 1000m to a depth of 800m and is open to the east and at depth.

The key parameters for exploration success on the Fenton Project are to locate the structural controls that focus hydrothermal fluids within the felsic volcanic host rocks.

Fenton Exploration Update 2016

570 line-km GEOTECH helicopter-borne Z-TEM completed over the Fenton project area (as well as a number of other company owned properties in the region).

Results of the survey will help define target areas for further drill testing of the Fenton property, where previous exploration and preliminary drilling have identified large areas of intense alteration with significant enrichment of gold, silver, and zinc within a felsic flow-dome complex.

The survey will also help evaluate the exploration potential of our other early stage properties in the region, in conjunction with recently completed geochemical programs. The targets on these properties range from large, bulk-tonnage gold-silver deposits to more compact, higher-grade polymetallic deposits.

Fenton 2014 Diamond Drilling

  • 9 Holes drilled for 2800m
  • Every meter drilled is altered and mineralized
  • Area drilled is 500m x 200m x 300m
  • Restricted to existing road access only
  • Narrow high-grade veinlets
  • Long bulk tonnage (low grade) type Ag-Au-Zn-Pb intervals
